Gulf Coast Winter Classic Horse Show 2017


The Gulf Coast Winter Classic Horse Show is a favorite among horse enthusiasts and 2017 will be no exception.  Each year Le Shabby Chateau and Le Petit Chateau serves as home for horsemen and guests during the show.

Each year during February and March the Gulf Coast welcomes thousands of competitors to join this classic show for six weeks of quality competition and fun on the beautiful Mississippi Gulf Coast. The show is hosted at the Harrison County Equestrian Center in Gulfport, Mississippi.


The Equestrian Center is a state of the art facility with an extraordinary Grass Grand Prix field, well maintained all weather footing competition rings, and many other features that will make both horse and horseman happy. The 2016 event is offered over $1,000,000 in prize money and awards, classes for all skill levels, and of course a big dose of our sweet southern hospitality.


Enjoy legendary exhibitor parties, Indoor Rider’s Lounges, Pizza Saturdays, Happy Hour Mondays and all the fabulous amenities of the Mississippi Gulf Coast.  The area offers World Class Casino Resorts, wonderful musical and theatrical shows, incredible dining opportunities of all types and also features delicious Gulf Seafood, award winning museums, beach and boat activities along the twenty six mile long white sand beachfront, and just plain fun for the entire family.


Join this show for Weekly Grand Prix Events, two USHJA International Hunter Derby classes, Pre Green Incentive classes, Jumper Classics for those not competing in the Grand Prix, a Jumper Derby, USHJA National Derbies.
The Gulf Coast Classic Company philosophy is to offer an event for every level of rider and horse.  From Lead Line to Grand Prix competition, from seasoned veteran horse and rider team to a first time horse show experience there is a class for you.
